Junior CAD Technician

Do you have an interest in design? Have you recently graduated / gained a qualification in engineering? Do you live local to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk?
If yes to the above, you may be perfect for the following CAD Technician role.
We are looking for a talented designer to be part of a manufacturing firms design engineering team, working to produce engineering drawings for manufacturing & taking ownership of the illustrations/graphics for manuals for internal & external customers.

• Creating new and maintaining existing parts manuals
• Updating and maintaining parts manuals on the company website
• Translating CAD models and drawings into graphics for in-house applications
• Creating and maintaining assembly instructions
• Developing website based interactive parts manuals
• Supporting the Design team with CAD detailing
  Ideally you will have relevant experience or a qualification within Design.

It is essential that you have the following: -

• Strong IT skills, ideally with 3D CAD Programs
• Strong admin skills
• Keen eye for detail
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems

We are offering a negotiable salary & negotiable hours for the right individual. This is not a remote role.
