ABOUT THE TEAM
Forvis Mazars Restructuring Services is looking for a Junior Case Executive to join our established team in Birmingham. You will work alongside a diverse and experienced group where your personal development is at the forefront of our culture. We currently operate a hybrid working model meaning that your time will be split between the Birmingham office and working remotely.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of the role is to be a key member of a team responsible for a large a portfolio of Members’ Voluntary Liquidation (“MVL”) assignments (also known as “solvent liquidations”). You will be proactive in supporting senior colleagues with the progression of these matters, with a view to taking on responsibility for your own portfolio of MVLs as you develop your skills within the team.
The MVL Centre of Excellence in Birmingham acts as a central hub for all MVL matters in the United Kingdom; meaning that whilst the role is based in our Birmingham office, you will also have the opportunity to work with our Insolvency Practitioners in other regions. You will work across all sectors with business ranging from owner-managed, SMEs to multi-national organisations.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Supporting senior colleagues in the completion of MVLs.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Preparing client reports, internal review documents and letters.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assisting with monitoring compliance and risk procedures.
- Adhering to statutory deadlines.
- Providing general administrative support to the senior members of the team using MS Office and specialist insolvency software.
- Liaising with creditors and dealing with creditor claims.
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
