Join us as a Junior Client Reporting Specialist
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Junior Client Reporting Specialist to join our Reporting HUB team. The Client Reporting Specialist is responsible for gathering, compiling, and transforming data from custody operations and fund accounting services to create reports showing finalized or predicted Client activities. In this role you will master your technical skills using different applications to prepare reports. You will have a chance to acquire custody and fund accounting knowledge and transfer it within the team. You will secure the process by maintaining procedures and other process related documentation. Apart from your daily duties you will be involved in continuous improvement initiatives and various special projects focusing on standardization and automation of the reporting processes.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Co-operate with your colleagues to meet all client reporting deliverables in accordance with procedures and controls
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to internal and external clients
  • Promptly escalate sensitive/risk issues to senior colleagues and management
  • Ensure procedures are being kept in good quality and risk driven
  • Enhance quality and efficiency of your work by identifying process improvements
  • Efficiently utilize BBH systems and tools to maximize productivity
  • Participate in special projects as directed by the Client Reporting Seniors & Supervisor e.g.: new business onboarding, new product implementation, reports conversion from other location
  • Continually cross train with other colleagues to assist knowledge transfer and coverage during absences.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Up to 2 years of professional experience in finance or similar field, where required knowledge and skills could have been acquired
  • Academic degree, preferably in finance or economy related fields is a must in case of missing professional experience level
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office Tools is a must, with strong focus on MS Excel;
  • Good command of English
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive in role;
  • Proven ability to problem solving and recommending solutions;
  • Capable of monitoring and completing a variety of assignments with proper priority;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Willingness and ability to work in a client-driven, deadline-oriented environment.
