Fexco Drive Technology are currently recruiting for a Junior Cloud Engineer to join their team. This role is a permanent, full-time position with the opportunity to work from our offices based in Killorglin, Co. Kerry with flexibility to work a hybrid model.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services.
  • Familiarity with one or more cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Monitor and maintain cloud systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Support the implementation of cloud security measures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
  • Participate in the automation of cloud operations using tools like Terraform.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing.
