Responsibilities:
Product Strategy
- Building a Motorcycle collection with product capable of achieving channel and region sales plans (in conjunction with the Collection Merchandiser and Head of Motorcycle)
- Consistently looking at category and style building blocks in order to maximise sales opportunities with both existing products and new product opportunities
- Conducting regular analysis of product opportunities, based on historical data and industry insights
- Compiling seasonal competitor and market research to build an ongoing understanding of pricing and product trends in the marketplace
Range Planning
- Creating the seasonal merchandising plan by category, number of styles/options, mix and sales targets units/value, to reflect the core brand aesthetic whilst improving adoption rate (with direction from the Collection Merchandiser and Head of Motorcycle)
- Supporting the team to keep line details populated with the most up to date information
- Coordinating sample distribution to sales Showrooms and agents
- Completing target pricing at style level and supporting the product teams to ensure target margins are met and standardised
- Defining and proposing the carryover product lists
- Producing and leveraging the end of season selling hindsight report to create a balanced range plan
Trade
- Creating DTC trade reports and summaries for further discussion in the weekly DTC meeting
- Drawing data based conclusions on performance and suggesting actions to maximise sales and mitigate any risks
- Work closely with the Collection Merchandiser, Head of Motorcycle, Head of Retail, Store Managers and Ecommerce team, to ensure regular communication on trade, stock levels and markdown / promotional roll outs
Planning
- Ensuring fabric forecasts are provided in collaboration with Production in accordance with the raw material order deadline and that figures are fed into the OTB sign off documents
- Supporting with the DTC assortment with channel leads
- Post launch of new season PO’s, ensuring that Launch tracker is maintained and circulated to relevant stakeholders, highlighting any risks to sales or planned VM and Marketing initiatives
- Working with production on inbound deliveries and sharing all updates with relevant stakeholders
