We are looking for a talented Junior Commercial Counsel to support the growth of Vista’s commercial business across its multiple brands – including VistaJet and XO. The principal focus of this position will be the drafting and negotiation of Vista’s flagship product, the VistaJet Program, but will include extensive opportunities to support commercial and related in-house projects throughout the Vista Group.

Your Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and edit commercial legal agreements, including charter and flight service contracts, loyalty and referral programs, T&Cs, marketing agreements, and NDAs.
- Negotiate agreements directly with third parties, including opposing counsel.
- Develop a solid understanding of the company’s product and business goals.
- Provide pragmatic, deal-minded support and advice to a global sales team.
- Assist with the global litigation portfolio (letters before action, cease & desists, e-discovery, settlement and releases, etc.)
- Use and maintain the company’s document, template, and contract repositories.
- Monitor legal developments, conduct legal research, and advise stakeholders.
- Support a wide range of projects on an as needed basis, from HR to Tax.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Qualified attorney (solicitor or barrister/advocate) admitted to practice law in England & Wales or Scotland.
- Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role and/or with relevant law firm training.
- Demonstrable contract drafting and negotiating experience.
- Commercially minded dealmaker with a lawyer’s attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to translate legal matters to non-legal audience.
- Digital literacy with a robust understanding of business tools (MS Office, etc.).
- Excellent English communication skills both orally and in writing.
- Self-starter; able to work autonomously from time-to-time.
- Able to monitor emails during peak periods, including evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges / new areas of law.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with English and/or New York consumer and commercial laws.
- Experience working directly with a sales team.
- Experience working in an international company / with an international client base, particularly EU and UK.
- Knowledge of (or strong interest in) aviation, luxury and travel industries.
- During training and/or after, exposure to commercial litigation, consumer law and contentious/non-contentious employment law.
