This position would be well suited to an individual related experience or that has recently completed a formal scheme and looking to broaden their experience.
The successful candidate would ideally be educated to Standard Grade Level or equivalent with passes in Mathematics and English and be competent in the use of MS applications especially excel.

PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for a Junior Cost Engineer to join our progressive commercial team based in Aberdeen on a full time, employee basis. Role is required to undertake commercial and general administration support.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Provide various regular reports to Management on Commercial statistics.
• Provide regular support to Cost Engineers on Project Costs.
• Provide ad-hoc reports as required for Projects / Management.
• Provide support in maintenance of company systems / tools to reflect / track client contracts and vendor contracts.
• Provide ad-hoc support to Commercial department when required.
• Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner.
• Adherence to the company integrated management system.
• Compliance with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies.
• Demonstrate and promote PD&MS QHSE principles and lead by example.
• Ensure unsafe activities are challenged.
• Adherence to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes in the undertaking of duties.
• Demonstrate and promote PD&MS values and lead by example.
• Ensure direct report performance reviews are carried out within the required timescales (where applicable).
