- Independently carries out regular Service Requests Type Tickets
- Carry out low-complexity investigations independently, assisted as necessary on mid to high-complexity issues
- Proactively create content for new joiners / wider business related to common Darwin Issues
- Predominately picking up low/mid complexity escalations with assistance where needed
- Strong grasp of all fundamental CGD Darwin functionality, except for gaps in more adv. functionality
- Basic Understanding of NGD fundamentals
- Basic SQL/MongoDB querying abilities for major recon/scripting
- Investigations into alerting on known scenarios
- Can replicate problems/issues and raise bugs with steps to replicate correctly
Responsibilities:
The Junior Darwin Analyst L3 plays a crucial role in our team by independently managing regular Service Request Type Tickets and conducting low-complexity investigations. This position involves assisting with mid to high-complexity issues as needed, while also proactively creating content to support new joiners and address common Darwin-related challenges.
This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations and enhancing the overall efficiency of our Darwin systems.
- Investigates, diagnoses, and resolves complex application issues, and works with clients (primarily internal, occasionally external), other IT departments and suppliers as appropriate.
- Provides users with best practice communications, guidance, and other appropriate support until tickets are resolved.
- Carries out application management, including monitoring and maintenance (installation, configuration, administration) of applications and services.
- Provides first-line DBA tasks; scheme manipulations, ad-hoc database research and reporting.
- Performs complex and challenging troubleshooting activities to resolve issues reported by users, as well as troubleshoot system-triggered alerts and triage complex issues to the appropriate technology groups.
- Answers questions relating to application security and configuration in the area of technical expertise.
- Supports business-critical applications; ensures monitoring is in place, identifies and reports on service issues, and formulates proposals for problem resolutions and/or improvements.
- Ensures all relevant implementation, support, and change management processes are adhered to (i.e. Software Development Lifecycle and Change Management.
- Provide on-call support for business-critical applications during non-core hours.
- Ensures CA is updated with Server Changes, Application Changes, and contains accurate/up-to-date information.
- Arrange communication on software/hardware issues and resolution updates; Provide service reports management summary.
- Assigns, coordinates, and manages ticket assignments with DBAs and the development team
