JUNIOR DATA ANALYST (4-MONTH CONTRACT)

Duration: 4-Month Contract
Office-Based: Full-time (No Work From Home)
We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our team on a 4-month contract. The role requires full-time attendance in the office.

In this role, you’ll support data collection, analysis, and reporting to drive business insights. You’ll be working in an environment where IT is a supporting function, with the focus on other core business areas. We’re looking for individuals who thrive in smaller organizations where IT plays a secondary role.
The systems you will predominantly work with include MS SQL, on-premise applications, and some Oracle DBA systems as they undergo migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, clean, and analyze data to support business operations.
• Generate and maintain regular reports on key metrics.
• Collaborate with various teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data insights.
• Support ad-hoc data analysis projects as required.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports.
• Work with MS SQL and Oracle DBA databases to facilitate smooth data migration and analysis.
• Assist with the transition of data from legacy on-premise systems to new solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a similar Data Analyst role, ideally in a smaller business setting.
• Comfortable with office-based work for the duration of the contract (no remote working options).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar.
• Basic understanding of MS SQL, on-premise applications, and Oracle DBA systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a small, collaborative team.
• Excellent communication skills to convey data insights clearly.
