LabX Media Group is currently looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our Business Analytics team.
Reporting to the department’s Senior Analyst, the Junior Data Analyst will work with brand stakeholders to develop reports, maintain dashboards, help ensure data integrity, and help optimize advertising revenue. The successful candidate will be someone who is extremely analytical and results oriented, with experience in data analysis and a strong willingness to learn. The candidate will work within our centralized Business Analytics department to help support multiple brands underneath LabX Media Group in an analyst capacity, but also support advertising operations (AdOps) with select brands like www.iflscience.com who specialize in programmatic advertising.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years experience working within the digital reporting and analytics space.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams or developers. Technical proficiency with Python or JavaScript considered valuable.
  • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, or similar tools to measure web and ad trafficking metrics.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, experience working in the media/publishing industry is an asset, especially experience with programmatic advertising.
  • Post-secondary education in a quantitative or technical field.
