Description:
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an engineer seeking to grow and increase expertise both in data engineering and BI-development and join a growing team allocated to rapidly involving BI solution in the real estate industry. You will be involved in the design and development of complex BI applications, creating efficient and performant data pipelines grounded in strong data modeling as well as in the creation of data products in line with the latest UI/UX patterns to provide insightful reporting for key decision makers. It is an opportunity to join a strong development team utilizing the latest set of progressive technologies, for an expanding global intelligence business as well as investigating new technologies such as AI and ML to enhance the platforms and services that we offer our customers.

REQUIREMENTS
- around 1 year of Date Engineer experience;
- around 1 year experience with BI visualization tools (Power BI preferred, SSRS, Tableau or QlikView);
- good knowledge of SQL;
- familiarity with measures creation (e.g. DAX)
- experience in ETL/ELT processes design, development, and maintenance;
- familiarity with ETL/Orchestration platforms and tools (e.g. ADF, SSIS, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Talend, etc.);
- experience with at least one RDBMS (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2);
- familiarity with OLAP/OLTP queries performance tuning;
- familiarity with cloud solutions and services (Microsoft Azure preferred);
- experience with at least one VCS (Git, SVN, etc.);
- desire to increase expertise in both data engineer and BI-development areas, willingness to learn;
- experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process;
- upper-Intermediate or above level of English.
Responsibilities:
- prepare new and optimize existing SQL queries;
- create from the scratch and enhance existing data products (reports) in Power BI;
- identify business goals and gather context around it to define with what data insights it could be solved;
- collaborate with end-users and gather feedback to identify field for improvements;
- preparation of data products (reports) for key business stakeholders.
