Job Function: Software & Cloud Services The role:
This is a ground-breaking opportunity to join a team of dedicated and motivated Data Engineers and Business Intelligence Engineers. As a Junior Data Engineer/BI Engineer at SoftwareOne, you will have the chance to work on ambitious projects, demonstrating innovative Microsoft technologies. You will collaborate closely with senior team members to successfully implement data and BI solutions, ensuring data quality and integrity.

What we need to see from you:

• Internship or project experience in Data/BI engineering.
• SQL language dialects like T-SQL.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Scala.
• Experience with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform and tools. Azure certifications is a plus.
• Working experience with version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with Scrum framework.
• Fluent English and Polis

DATA ENGINEERING ROLE:

• Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Collaborate with senior data engineers and other team members to implement data solutions on the Azure platform.
• Fix and resolve data-related issues to ensure flawless data operations.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ENGINEERING ROLE:

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Build and manage data models, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct optimization and performance tuning of BI solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft technologies and trends in Data/BI engineering.
