Description:
WHO YOU ARE / YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
Bulletproof, an innovative and expanding Cyber Security specialist, is looking to recruit a Junior GDPR Consultant to support our GDPR Team with, to name a few, gap analyses, implementations and DPO services throughout our client base.
You as our Junior GDPR Consultant, will need to have a good understanding of GDPR, as well as other data protection regulations and information security best practices. You will need to be able to work in, and enjoy, a fast-paced and changing environment with a focus on delivering an excellent client service. With an experienced GDPR Team around you, and a competitive salary, we hope to provide an ideal launchpad for the right candidate to specialise in GDPR within an consultancy environment!
An overview of the main duties has been provided below:
- Support the GDPR Team in the delivery of Bulletproof’s GDPR services;
- Maintain regular contact with specific DPO clients;
- Field and support first-line DPO enquiries;
- Introduce, demonstrate and support customers in their use of Bulletproof portals;
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the Bulletproof portals and Bulletproof’s GDPR Documentation Set;
- Support GDPR gap analyses;
- Support GDPR implementations (including, but not limited to, data flow mapping, developing policies and procedures, records of processing, DPIAs, and LIAs);
- Write client GDPR documentation;
- Keep careful logs of client interactions;
- Deliver in-house GDPR awareness training to customers;
- Provide clients with regular updates on the latest privacy related news;
- Support marketing activities where required;
- Support the delivery of GDPR consultancy services within defense.com;
- Recognise and manage upsell opportunities within existing customers.

Responsibilities:
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR / SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE
- Good knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection, ideally with exposure to working on GDPR related projects or hold experience in a role with some data protection regulation responsibilities;
- A GDPR Foundation or GDPR Practitioner qualification would be beneficial, but is not essential;
- Strong client management skills with the ability to set and manage expectations alongside gathering and sharing information;
- Knowledge of PECR with awareness of Cyber and Information Security best practices;
- Strong Microsoft Office skills;
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks and projects at any given time;
- Pro-active and enthusiastic with a can do attitude;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Good commercial acumen;
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player;
- Willingness to learn.
