Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Junior Data Protection Specialist (all genders) to join the Central Data Protection Office on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. For this role we offer a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
In this role, you will manage daily and ad-hoc tasks. This position involves a mix of operational tasks and legal research, providing standard answers to questions from our Tech, Product or People/HR teams. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals looking to break into the field of data protection and privacy law. - Contribute to third party assessments and contract management, including data processing agreements and third party risk reports for data processors
- Assist the team with legal research, daily compliance operations and ad-hoc tasks, with a strong focus on data subject rights and people-related requests
- Participate in regular privacy training sessions for non-privacy teams
- Support the team’s priority compliance projects
- Facilitate data mapping and document data processing activities, including performing basic data protection impact assessments
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in law or business, or comparable qualification (e.g., German First State Examination)
- Basic understanding of data protection and its technical aspects
- You are comfortable working independently and are proactive in taking ownership of tasks
- Curiosity and a willingness to get familiar with the online technology industry
- Interest in project management and process-oriented thinking
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Strong comprehension skills for handling complex documents
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail
- Presentation skills and the ability to prompt an AI are welcomed
