Summary:
As a Junior Database DevOps Engineer within the SAP Commerce Cloud DevOps team, you will be responsible for supporting and operating our databases in a multi-tenant application and for our many commerce customers. Leveraging best of breed technologies, you will have a direct impact on the company’s ability to succeed.
The Role:

We are looking for a Junior Database Engineer within SAP Commerce Cloud DevOps Team to assist with strengthening the services across our landscape for thousands of customers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in database technologies and work on a variety of exciting projects.

  • Build up expertise and collaborate with Senior engineers to design and implement database solutions.
  • Perform database performance assessments and provide optimization possibilities to ensure different workloads can optimally run.
  • Provide consulting to customers and different stakeholders to follow best practices to have superior database performance.
  • Help identify and build solutions for any activities which can be optimized and made safer by leveraging automation.
