Knowledge Share

• Identify areas that require specific knowledge, skill or understanding and seek guidance fro

Database Design

• Ensure Database design is robust, scalable and operating
• Work with other DBAs to make sure that the solutions meet application requirements and performance goals.
• Actively contribute to planning meetings, documentations, and

Database Performance

• Assists with ensuring high DB availability as this has a public facing web front
• Install and maintain the performance of database

Monitoring

• Monitor database
• Utilise tools and scripts to monitor all aspects of database performance including the underlaying compute, storage and networking.
• Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database

• Monitor daily backups, archiving and indexing.

• Recommend and implement emerging database
