Position Summary: As a Junior Design Engineer at Amico Corporation, you’ll play a key role in developing and refining designs that are Custom. This role involves creating detailed, project-specific drawings, working closely with internal teams to implement feedback, and ensuring up-to-date engineering documentation. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project-specific drawings using CAD software
- Receive and incorporate client feedback to enhance product designs
- Maintain and update engineering documentation to ensure accuracy
- Engage in detail-oriented tasks, ensuring quality and precision in all designs
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field; recent graduates are welcome
- Proficiency in CAD software and a willingness to learn additional design programs
- Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience creating technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
