POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Junior Designer at Westwood Cabinetry, you’ll play a vital role in the support of bringing our customers’ visions to life. You’ll work closely with our talented sales team and senior designers to attract new clients, deliver outstanding design solutions, and showcase our top-tier cabinetry products. We’re looking for someone who thrives in customer-facing roles, enjoys the creative process, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop innovative design strategies and work collaboratively with a supportive and experienced team. Your creativity, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills will be essential as you contribute to the continued success and growth of our business!
EDUCATION
- Completion of a recognized interior design program highly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Design Consultant
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders internally and externally
- File preparation including scaling plans and setting up walls in 20/20; complete 2020 designs
- Create 3D perspectives, customer presentation materials and sign off packages as required
- Create sign-off elevations
- Perform site measures
- Contribute to countertop quotes by sending layouts and following up on quotes
- Complete site layouts as directed, individually or as a team, all levels from simple to high end and complex; site work can be 25% of the job
- Greet customers as they come in and follow up on general inquiries from clients
- Answer the phone line and assist customers with small independent projects
- When applicable and instructed, review co-worker’s design and 3D packages as a cross-check
- Provide showroom support as required
· Generate pertinent, accurate information on appliances and special accessory items
- Perform other duties as required
