We are looking for an analytical and proactive Category Manager to join our dynamic and diverse Category and Purchasing team. As part of the team, you will be responsible for managing either the Makeup or Skincare category from a strategic perspective within the online beauty business environment

Responsibilities:

  • You know your KPIs and how to work with a P&L
  • You report on the status and health of your assortment, making sure that you know the characteristic peculiarities and workings of the category. Your ultimate goal is financial success on both the top and bottom line
  • Your strong analytical skills consistently derived category insights and transform customer, market, and competitor data into actionable next steps
  • Using market data, you evaluate opportunities to enhance the assortment. This includes, among other things, seasonal items, limited editions, gaps in the market, and brands to onboard or delist. You thrive on informed decision-making, with recommendations grounded in data
  • Your function is truly based on cross functional collaboration. You align closely with your purchasing counterparts and work with stakeholders in pricing, campaign, retail media and supply chain. This ensures the attractiveness, availability and financial performance of your category
  • Additionally you ensure a great shopping experience by providing category specific knowledge to optimize navigation, category pages, filters and PDPs
