The RF & Electronic Engineering Physical Sciences team and Electrical & Mechanical Engineering teams comprise of 100 multi-discipline engineers and scientists who work across a wide range of complex projects ranging from land, maritime, air and OpTech technologies for a variety of customers.
The Role
As a Junior EMC Test Engineer, reporting to the RF, Test and Evaluation Team Lead, you will have a role out of the ordinary. Your overall focus will be on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) test and evaluation.
Day-to-day, you will undertake a variety of tasks within the engineering lifecycle to ensure that technical solutions meet business and customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE OF THE JUNIOR EMC TEST ENGINEER:

Electronics Engineering for both analogue and digital
Electromagnetic Compatibility across design, test and fault finding
Hands on design, implementation and test experience through project work
A strong interest and/or experience of Radio Frequency (RF) design and testing

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE JUNIOR EMC TEST ENGINEER:

Apprenticeship at NVQ level 3 and/or an HNC/D in an electrical/electronics discipline
