Description:
Plan Energy is an independent renewable energy development and sustainability business supporting international clients on projects across Ireland and the UK. The business develops renewable energy projects both on its own and in partnerships with other developers and funders. The company also advises customers on decarbonisation plans including energy auditing through to retrofit solutions and grants. Our mission is to lead the transition to a low carbon future locally and internationally by delivering expert services in renewable energy.
For more than 10 years we have worked with some of the biggest names in European renewable energy development as well as with municipalities, state agencies and local communities. At PlanEnergy, we owe our success to the people we work with and the depth of knowledge we have in our sector.
As a Junior Energy Auditor, you will be key in conducting non-domestic energy audits, supporting retrofit projects, and providing actionable insights to help clients improve energy performance. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work towards certifications such as Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), and grow within the renewable energy industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct non-domestic energy audits, assessing building energy systems, processes, and consumption.
- Assist in the development of Registers of Opportunities to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
- Support the design and implementation of energy efficiency and retrofit projects.
- Prepare clear and actionable audit reports for public and private sector clients.
- Stay informed about ISO50001, SEAI guidelines, and relevant energy regulations.
- Collaborate with senior team members to deliver project goals.
