QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university or equivalent
• Registration as a professional with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) or recognized international body

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years in Design Engineering
• Experience in the Energy Industry is preferable

KNOWLEDGE

• Learning competence within the applicable Knowledge Area
• Basic understanding of relevant industries (Nuclear and/or Industrial)
• Basic knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards
• Familiarity with Lesedi Engineering procedures and processes
• Basic competence as an Authorized Designer
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety Act, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001
• Understanding of Lesedi Integrated Management System (IMS)

SKILLS

• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Basic leadership skills
• Clear communication (written and spoken)
• High degree of analytical thinking
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Basic administrative and organizational skills
• Familiarity with engineering software tools (e.g., Process, Stress analysis, Engineering integration)
• Basic knowledge of project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)

Provide technical services and develop technical outputs within the Engineering Team, focusing on producing quality deliverables that meet all client, code, and standard requirements while adhering to internal engineering processes.
