ERM is seeking a motivated Junior Environmental Consultant to join our team in Bucharest and assist our clients in various areas, including but not limited to:

  • EHS Due Diligence Audits & EHS Compliance Audits
  • Environmental Permitting
  • Sustainability advisory projects
  • Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
  • Contaminated Sites Investigations
  • Environmental & Social Impact Assessments
  • Environmental Baseline Data Collection

About the role:

The main responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Applying client/sector knowledge when undertaking tasks associated with drafting project deliverables
  • Conducting site visits for data collection as part of project delivery
  • Consistently utilizing ERM’s methodologies and technologies in line with both ERM and client expectations
  • Contributing to the successful delivery of small discrete tasks within projects and/or proposals
  • Understanding how the work of the project team or practice community contributes to ERM’s overall success

    About You:

  • University degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Biology, Geography, Engineering, Planning and Development, or a related discipline is required

  • Ideally, you already possess around 1 year of experience with environmental and/or health & safety projects
  • Your proficiency in Romanian and English languages is essential
  • You should enjoy working on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel and undertake work domestically and internationally is necessary
  • A valid driver’s license is required
