SKILLS WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance/Banking/Statistics/International Business;
- Ideally, candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in equity research/investment banking/audit/valuation;
- Understanding of one or more of the Financial/Banking/IT/Telecom Services/ Consumer Discretionary sectors would be a plus;
- Knowledge of database tools, including Bloomberg, Eikon, FactSet, BlueMatrix and other financial data platforms is desirable;
- Proficiency in English: clear and concise speech and writing, effective listening skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Understanding of accounting concepts and ability to conduct financial analysis;
- Understanding of equity valuation methodologies;
- Good financial writing skills (beyond factual reporting, such as company description);
- Capacity to build financial models with forecasting;
- Ability to meet deadlines whilst remaining flexible to prioritize urgent requests;
- Razor-sharp focus, keen attention to detail and proactive behavior are a must

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and strategic evaluation of leading companies (financial institutions, technology and telecom among others), forming well-informed views on their relative and absolute valuations;
- Monitor and analyze news, events, and financial outcomes related to the companies under coverage, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination;
- Stay abreast of developments in global industries, keeping a close watch on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes;
- Develop and refine financial models by updating historical data, constructing robust projections, and performing rigorous valuation exercises;
- Assist in the meticulous preparation of company profiles, newsletters, flash notes, earnings notes, and coverage initiation reports, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and insightful content;
- Create impactful roadshow presentations that effectively showcase investment opportunities and articulate key investment insights to a diverse range of stakeholders;
- Address ad-hoc research requests with efficiency and attention to detail, aligning research efforts with client requirements to deliver accurate and tailored analyses.
