Junior Estimator

We are seeking a Junior Level Estimator to work in our Northside Jacksonville Manufacturing location. This role is a contract to permanent role and requires the candidate to be local to Jacksonville - the work is 100% onsite.
The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing mechanical drawings and related specifications, in order to prepare quotations for fabricated sheet metal HVAC duct systems.
What We Are Looking For:
o A customer-oriented individual with excellent oral and written communication skills. Prior experience in a customer service role is a plus.
o Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under time constraints and strict deadlines.
o Must be accurate, possess good attention to detail, and be proactive in pointing out potential issues.
o Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
o Prior experience understanding product specifications and mechanical blueprints a plus.
o Previous HVAC industry experience is a plus, but not required.
o Must be self-motivated and punctual.
We are willing to provide on-the-job training for a highly motivated candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
