JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Finance Operations Associate to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who wants hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-growing company. You will support day-to-day financial operations, from processing transactions to preparing reports, and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate financial data.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in finance operations, bookkeeping, or accounting is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Xero, MiSys) is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Processing: Assist with accounts payable (AP) processes, including invoice management, payment processing, and reconciliation.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate financial records, ensuring data integrity in internal financial systems.
  • Expense Management: Support the processing, reviewing, and reconciliation of employee expenses and corporate credit card transactions.
  • Financial Reporting Support: Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports, including tracking KPIs and maintaining relevant metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other teams to ensure accurate tracking of project budgets and expenses
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and support the implementation of new tools or systems as needed.
