Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fully or partially qualified accountant.
  • Experience in reconciliations and corporate reporting.
  • Knowledge of IFRS.
  • Proficiency in English and German (B2 / C1).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to collaborate within a diverse team.
  • Ability to work autonomously and adaptably, using initiative to meet objectives.
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and highly organized.
  • Determined, with the ability to persevere and overcome challenges.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing, recording, maintaining, and reconciling specific account groups (such as accruals, prepayments, or provisions).
  • Perform monthly reconciliations that are not covered by other teams, ensuring they are completed within established deadlines.
  • Address and resolve reconciliation issues promptly and effectively.
  • Assist the EMEA Senior Reporting Accountant in monthly IFRS group reporting tasks for assigned entities, including actuals reporting and semi-annual statutory disclosures.
  • Work alongside the EMEA Senior Reporting Accountant to prepare and file statutory financial statements in compliance with local regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of financial statement audits.
  • Communicate with external consultants when necessary, such as tax advisors or accounting service providers.
  • Support both internal and external audit processes related to designated areas and assist with audit requirements.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are well-documented and standardized across European operations.
  • Contribute to best practices and continuous improvement efforts, including process automation within the department.
  • Provide assistance to other areas within the finance and reporting team as needed.
