Junior Full Stack Node JS Developer.

We have a new opportunity available for a Junior full stack Node.js developer. This position has come about due to continued digital push of Cromwell Tools. As a Node.js Developer you’ll be joining a very talented on-site digital team, building out a new product utilising the latest software engineering tools and techniques.
This is a hybrid position with the option of working in the office in our Digital department. We understand that remote working is not for everyone, so working on-site would be welcomed if you choose.

Our new Junior Node.js Developer will play a pivotal role in product development, collaborate with Developers, Project Managers and Business Analysts to ensure the custom development objectives are being met.
It will be advantageous if you have been exposed to various web technologies mentioned, but as a Junior support and training will be provided. We are looking for agile and flexible developers who are willing to learn and work well within the team. We will take each applicant upon merit and not necessary upon fulfilling all of the tech skills mentioned.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE KNOWLEDGE AND INTEREST IN THE FOLLOWING:

• Experience with Node.js and full stack development
• Experience with React and Redux Web framework
• Experience with SQL, experience with Postgres is desirable
• Experience in Agile Software Development
• Experience with CSS
• Version control such as Git

SOME EXTRA NICE TO HAVE SKILLS OR WILLING TO LEARN, TRAINING AND SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED:

• Material UI
• Experience using AWS Lambda functionality
• Experience using AWS DynamoDB
• Experience using AWS Cognito and user groups
• Experience with Serverless frameworks
• Contributions to open source community (e.g. highly ranked GitHub repos, technical blogs)
• Industrial Supplies domain experience
• MongoDB
• REST API services
• Cloud based web services
• Testing experience such as unit and end-to-end testing

• As a developer you will collaborate with the product owner to help define and deliver software requirements for programming effort. This includes helping and writing specification for other developers.
• You will design, implement (Node.js code) for Front End & Back End parts of the application
