Description:
Who are you?
We are on the lookout for a Junior Full Stack (.NET C#) Engineer to join us! You’ll be a core member of the team delivering new functionality for our products and continuously improving our tech stack, being fully involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
OK, that’s me, but who are DrDoctor?
Take a look at our careers page (https://drdoctor.teamtailor.com/) to find out a bit more about our mission, vision, and impact!
But ultimately, we the NHS and want to help it work better! We radically transform the delivery of health services to make healthcare work for everyone – for patients, doctors, administrative teams and taxpayers.
Who will I be working with?
One of the great things about a scale-up is that every day is different and there is always an opportunity to get involved in something outside of your ‘BAU’!
In this role you will interact fully with every part of the business, especially as we grow. Meet Sam, one of the Engineers you’ll be working very closely with -
" Hi, I’m Sam! I joined DrDoctor as a Junior Full-Stack Developer back in 2021 and over the past 3 years I have had loads of amazing experiences developing many different products that are used by patients and NHS staff members. This includes working on projects such as:
- Creating a two-way messaging product enabling patients to chat with NHS staff
- Creating a video product that allows users to create virtual appointments enabling remote appointments
- Developing pages that integrate directly with the NHS App
The great thing about working here is the opportunities you are presented with and the freedom you are given to focus your growth on what areas of software development interest you. You will be supported in your professional development and pushed to grow.
The culture at DrDoctor is the best I have experienced in a workplace, everyone is super friendly, engaged and honest. You won’t ever be left in the dark or struggling on an issue by yourself, all you have to do is ask and people will be willing to spare the time to help. Even though we are a remote first company it does not feel lonely or isolated at all. Also, there is a great atmosphere in the office (both socially and work related) if you are wanting to make the commute in. I am looking forward to our team growing and can’t wait to work with you!”
