QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of ETF or mutual fund registration statement experience is required.
- Basic understanding of Form N-1A or SEC EDGAR filing types is helpful.
- Strong organizational and proofreading skills, along with solid oral and written communication abilities.
- A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, often under time constraints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required; familiarity with other software and processes is a plus.
- An Associate’s degree is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary purpose of the Junior Fund Paralegal role is to support Tidal’s exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) platform. As part of the Legal group within Tidal, the Fund Paralegal will assist Tidal’s legal team and serve as a key point of contact for Tidal’s clients. This position includes training opportunities tailored to your experience level, helping you learn and grow in assisting the legal team with preparing and filing registration statements with the SEC.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Junior Fund Paralegal, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of fund registration statements (e.g., statutory prospectuses, summary prospectuses, and statements of additional information) for initial, annual, and amended filings, as well as supplemental filings.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including Compliance and Fund Administration, as well as external legal counsel, auditors, and service providers.
