JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our central team. Thesleff Group operates Los Mochis restaurant in Notting Hill & London City, Sale e Pepe in Knightsbridge, and Viajante87 cocktail bar and lounge in Notting Hill.
Working within the in-house marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually stunning materials that reflect our restaurant group’s unique identity and appeal to our diverse customer base. From menu design to marketing collateral, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and contribute to the success of our brand.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One to two years’ experience working as a junior graphic designer, preferably in the restaurant industry or hospitality sector.
• Proven experience working across brands as part of an agency or multi-brand group.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva and other relevant design software.
• Experience with Squarespace or similar web design platforms is a big plus.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including menu design, marketing collateral, 360 branding, digital assets and print.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Time management skills.
• Passion for food, design, and creativity.
• Degree in Graphic Design or related field is desirable.

• Menu Design: Conceptualise, design and update visually appealing menus that showcase our culinary offerings while maintaining consistency with our brand identity. Ensure menus are both aesthetically pleasing and easy for our customers to navigate.
• Marketing Collateral: Develop engaging digital & print marketing materials, including flyers, posters, banners, merchandise, and social media graphics that effectively promote our restaurants and events. Collaborate with the marketing team to align designs with campaign objectives, messaging, and brand guidelines.
• Brand Identity: Uphold and evolve our brand identity across all design projects, ensuring consistency in style, colour palette, typography, and imagery. Help establish and maintain brand guidelines to streamline design processes and maintain brand integrity.
• Website: Utilise your experience with Squarespace to maintain and update our website with visually compelling content, including menu updates and promotional offers. Optimise our customers journey through our website, ensuring it reflects the latest trends in web design. Experience in HTML or CSS would be beneficial.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, culinary, and management, to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet business objectives and exceed expectations.
• Print Production: Liaise with external vendors and printers to oversee the production process, ensuring the quality and accuracy of printed materials.
