LOCATION

Taco Towers (Oxford Circus) and in-restaurants. Majority of time in Taco Towers with some days working from our restaurants and/or from home.

EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of Graphic Design Experience
• Strong, diverse portfolio that demonstrates creative abilities, design skills, and passion for impactful visuals.
• Proficiency in design software: Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Excellent understanding of typography, layout and composition.
• Familiarity with design principles for both print and digital mediums.
• Knowledge of file formats and specifications for different design outputs.

THE ROLE

Wahaca is searching for a talented, ambitious, creative Junior Graphic Designer with excellent attention to detail to join the design team. We’re a small team of passionate, friendly people looking for the latest addition to our growing team. If the power of great design and Mexican food is a combo you’ll jump out of bed for on a Tuesday morning then we’ve got the job for you! As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, supporting our marketing and branding efforts, including key seasonal campaigns and events.
We’re offering a 12-month contract starting ASAP (potential to extend depending on performance and business need).
Reporting to our in-house Design Lead, you’ll work with the marketing team, restaurant teams, the food and operations teams, senior leaders and relevant suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design Creation: Create a variety of design assets, including:

• Print assets, including menus, in restaurant assets, invitations, promotional items

• Digital assets, including web assets,
• Event assets, such as menus, invitations
• Illustration & animation skills are a nice to have
• Brand Consistency: Ensure that all design materials adhere to the Wahaca brand guidelines and maintain consistency across various platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the design, marketing, people and operations teams to understand their needs and develop relevant designs
