JUNIOR HOTEL ACCOUNTS MANAGER - €40K - SLIGO

We are currently recruiting a Junior Accounts Manager for our Client based in a stunning hotel in Sligo. The Candidate will be involved in all duties from accounts payable, receivable and payroll. A Hotel background is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the accounting records including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, General Ledger reporting.
  • Balancing all cash and card functions of the Hotel.
  • Report Revenue and Payroll Directly to the General Manager of the Hotel
  • Production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Completion of Reports for Revenue when required.
  • Assist with end of year financial reports.
  • Maintain all ledgers of the property management system - deposit ledger, guest ledger and city ledger. Co-ordinate with the Front Office team on resolving any imbalances found. Ensure deposits received from guests are recorded on the PMS in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the Banking Duties of the Business.
  • Ensure correct reporting from the Point of Sale (Astec) to the Property Management system (Room master) to the accounting software (Sage 50).
  • Review of employee expense claim forms and payment of same.
