Description:

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Junior HR Operations Analyst at MKS Instruments, you will partner with HR Operations to help drive forward our HR Operations strategy and achieve efficiency in our HR support model. In this role, you will report to the Sr Global HR Program Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Excellent customer service skills while answering first tier HR questions and ability to triage questions to appropriate COEs depending on level of complexity
  • Systems acumen and an ability to support all of our Workday modules (HCM, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, Payroll, etc.)
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance, training, and support to HR teams and end-users on our Workday modules (HCM, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, Payroll, etc.), processes, and best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot variety of technical problems and a willingness to learn from subject matter experts across numerous disciplines of HR
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies, and drive operational excellence and standardization across the company or department
  • Develop and maintain HR process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and workflow diagrams, to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance.
  • Ability to collaborate on HR projects as they arise
  • the employee will work in a global international team, ability for flexibility in the work hours is expected

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information in a professional manner Experience in a problem-solving environment, where good decisions must be made under time constraints
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization and work effectively as a member of cross functional Human Resources team
  • Multitasking: able to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines and manage priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Microsoft Office, Excel knowledge required

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources experience preferred
  • Experience with Workday preferred
