Your Role

Want to drive deep-tech Corporate Venture Capital at ZEISS?

• Together with senior colleagues, you will drive Venture Capital process from creating deal flow to executing investments in start-ups
• You will develop new methodologies, perform due diligence analysis (business and technology) for evaluation of opportunities, turn complex technology insights into actionable business plans and support the ventures on their challenges (or support the team in deal making)
• To do so you will build and manage a network within the ZEISS organization and the start-up / venture capital community
• You will support the members of the ZEISS venture investment committee and make our investments successful

Your Profile

• University degree in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) or Life Sciences ideally paired with an MBA
• first experience in start-up/ventures, tier-one strategy consulting or technology development o the entrepreneurial spark e.g., shown by working in or founding a start-up and good business understanding
• a highly analytical mindset, strong organizational and project management skills, high interest in building and implementing end-to-end processes and operations in new businesses
• passion for innovations in digital and high-tech topics
• good communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate with internal stakeholders in a high-tech environment up to C-Level as well as with founders and the venture capital community
• Fluent in German (C1) and English
