JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Desktop Support - Remote and will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently contributing to the overall success of our IT services.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess strong experience in remote desktop support demonstrating the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Have a solid understanding of networking principles and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Be proficient in Windows and Macintosh OS X with the ability to support and troubleshoot both platforms.
  • Experience with Service Now for incident management is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with end-user tools like Nexthink is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IT service management processes including incident problem and change management is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote desktop support to end-users ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems on various platforms including Windows and Macintosh OS X.
  • Utilize Service Now for incident management ensuring all tickets are logged tracked and resolved within SLA.
  • Collaborate with the networking team to address connectivity issues and optimize network performance.
  • Implement and manage end-user tools like Nexthink to monitor and enhance user experience.
  • Participate in IT service management processes including incident problem and change management.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Provide technical support for IT-related projects ensuring successful implementation and user adoption.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes procedures and troubleshooting guides.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures promoting best practices across the organization.
  • Offer training and support to end-users enhancing their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor system performance and provide regular reports to management highlighting areas for improvement.
