REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 6 months commercial experience as Junior Java Developer
- Good proficiency in Java
- Good command of PLX (Google’s analytical quesry engines)
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge in Data-related projects (Data Migration/Reporting)
Responsibilities:
- Develop new features, including semantic search, data model reconciliation, knowledge management mechanisms, etc
- Apply best practices for software design, development, and maintenance on small to medium-sized projects of high complexity and impact
- Maintain and refactor backend applications that rely on Google Infrastructure
- Analyze, review, and modify existing applications and infrastructure that rely on Google infrastructure to increase efficiency or improve overall testing, monitoring, etc
- Review and triage incoming technical bugs with a focus on business continuity
