ABOUT YOUR POSITION

CONSTANT is seeking a Junior Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist to support the Office of Fleet and Asset Management (OFAM). OFAM mission is to provide effective and efficient management of Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP)fleet and asset resources. This includes acquiring and disposing of vehicles and equipment, maintaining and repairing fleet assets, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards and supporting operational needs through efficient asset management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Information Systems, Business Administration/Analytics, Technical Communication) or a relevant field
  • 1-3 years of relevant KM/IM
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, content management, and business writing
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to change and ability to learn new technologies
  • Knowledge of information management regulations and security standards
  • Must pass a CBP Background Investigation (BI)

Responsibilities:

The Junior Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Customs and Border Protection Office of Fleet and Asset Management’s knowledge management initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of SharePoint, content management, and business writing, and a passion for aligning knowledge management practices with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and be able to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

  • Support knowledge management initiatives within the Office of Fleet and Asset Management
  • Assist in designing and managing information structures on SharePoint
  • Contribute to content creation and management
  • Support project management and change management efforts
  • Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in tasks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build relationships and provide support
  • Analyze data using SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Adapt to new technologies and learn new skills quickly
  • Promote knowledge sharing and innovation
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs
