Description
This individual will be a valuable contributor to the Land Title team that is part of Weyerhaeuser’s Law Department. The Junior Land Title Analyst will support all activities related to real property land records information and management in a fast paced and fun environment. Being responsible, reliable, quick and accurate, and with a can-do attitude are essential. Having superior attention to detail, possessing strong customer support skills and dependability are key success characteristics of a Junior Land Title Analyst.
The Land Title team supports all aspects land records management across Weyerhaeuser’s 10.5-million-acre land base.
Knowledge of land records and legal descriptions is preferred, with an understanding of more complex legal descriptions, a plus. This person will have the opportunity to work on high-level and interesting projects with the legal team and to work with people across the country.
Location: This role is based out of our headquarters in Seattle, WA on a hybrid schedule which requires onsite work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with remote work on Monday and Friday.

    Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two or more years of GIS, real estate or related experience desired.
  • Experience reading and understanding legal descriptions; Public Land Survey System (PLSS) and metes and bounds legal descriptions, preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Advanced excel & dashboard skills preferred.
  • GIS skills and familiarity with ESRI’s ArcGIS software suite; including ArcGIS Desktop/ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online/Portal a plus.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s or associate degree, a plus.
  • GIS certificate and experience, a plus.
