Are you a motivated, freshly graduated legal professional with a passion for commercial and corporate law? Join our team as a Junior Legal Counsel and play a key role in managing legal affairs and supporting our businesses in the DACH region. You’ll work on a range of legal issues, including EU Competition and Antitrust laws, helping to drive our success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Tasks

  • Managing day-to-day legal affairs of the DACH region as part of the Global Legal and IPR team.
  • Providing strategic advice to management on commercial law (B2B and D2C business) and corporate law (compliance and local corporate governance).
  • Proactively supporting selected Amer Sports projects across all brands.
  • Actively participating in the development of legal affairs by drafting legal policies, guidelines, best practices, and conducting training sessions.
  • Preventing and resolving disputes and legal risks.
  • Reviewing claims, disputes, legal notices, and providing assistance in asserting and defending claims, collaborating with the group legal department and external counsel as needed.

Requirements

  • Law degree - First and Second German State Exam
  • 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house lawyer are preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of laws and principles related to national and international contracts, collaborations, and transactions
  • Proficiency in commercial law, EU competition law, and corporate law
  • Solid experience in contract and claims management
  • Business-oriented and strategic mindset with strong team commitment
  • Experience in intercultural cooperation; living abroad is preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve results in a global matrix organization
  • Skill in understanding and communicating complex matters clearly and consistently
  • Excellent spoken and written language skills in English and German; French is a plus
