As a junior legal counsel, you will take ownership of legal issues in our team based in Belgium that supports Ravago Group’s worldwide operations. We are looking for someone who can provide high quality legal advice and is able to propose creative approaches to business issues. Specific responsibilities include:

• acting as a business partner and to provide accurate legal support to Ravago Group’s organization;
• intensive interaction with internal stakeholders (Ravago’s different business lines such as recycling, distribution, production, Logistics, Quality) and external stakeholders (suppliers, customers, banks, service providers,);
• staying up-to-date with legislation and/or compliance matter;
• contributing to wider organizational goals and/or activities as assigned;
• You will be involved in several legal subjects such as: drafting and reviewing all types of legal documents and agreements, corporate governance and housekeeping, follow up legal procedures and litigations, organization of intra-group operations and legal compliance

Who are you?

• You have obtained your Master degree in Law with a very good academic track record. You have 0-3 years of relevant experience;
• You have excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. Proficiency in Dutch and French is an advantage.
• You are capable of analyzing complex legal issues and you have proven to deal positively when working within tight deadlines.
• You are a highly organized, detail-oriented, and rigorous person. You have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team on complex projects.
• You are capable of handling confidential information in a discreet manner and you maintain the highest ethical standards
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and “can do” attitude.
