JOB OPPORTUNITY: JUNIOR LITIGATION LAWYER (WILLS & ESTATES, CIVIL LITIGATION, FAMILY LAW)

Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Compensation: Fee Split

We are seeking a driven and professional Associate to join our dynamic team in Edmonton. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years of experience in wills and estates, civil litigation, and/or family law.
  • Strong understanding of the law and legal processes in the respective practice areas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Must have a driver’s license and must be willing to travel to courthouses in the Greater Edmonton Area and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and represent clients in complex litigation matters involving wills and estates, civil disputes, and family law issues.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, and other necessary court filings.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients in court and during settlement negotiations.
  • Maintain and grow strong client relationships, offering exceptional customer service.
