ABOUT THE POSITION

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Support Specialist for a temporary consultant assignment. Employed by Wrknest, you will work as a consultant at Hitachi Energy, contributing to the design and modification of machinery, equipment, and products. This role involves coordination with various teams, preparing reports, and conducting analyses using CAD tools like Team Centre, NX, and SolidWorks.
You will support HVDC converter station tenders by preparing design concepts, tender documents, equipment layouts, Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for mechanical switchyard materials, and engineering cost sheets.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating on design concepts according to customer specifications and internal requirements.
• Preparing tender documents and equipment layouts for HVDC converter stations.
• Generating Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for mechanical switchyard materials.
• Creating engineering hours cost sheets for tender proposals.
• Using CAD tools such as Team Centre, NX, and SolidWorks to support designs.
• Assisting senior engineers with less complex engineering tasks based on instructions.
• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure efficient project execution.
