Description:
My client based in Newcastle is looking for a Junior Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician with mechanical bias to join an expanding team on permanent basis.
Package -
- Monday to Thursday
- 07:00 until 16:45
- Pay rate is £15.98 per hour
- Pension matched at 6%
- Performance related bonus up to £360 per quarter
Responsibilities -
- Compete valid risk assessments for all work undertaken
- Maintain preventative maintenance plan with weekly scheduled and targeted checks
- Perform a variety of all routine maintenance, fault finding and repair work on plant equipment including pumps, fans, gear boxes, shafts, water lines, valves, belts, motors, electrical panels, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electronic control systems.
- Carry out activity according to production plan, organise and prioritise routine jobs liaising with production planner
- PAT testing and in-service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment maintaining records and schedule.
- To install and commission plant and machinery.
- Carry out machine upgrades and development in conjunction with the Production Department
- Ensure that breakdown logs are kept and are accurate for data analysis purposes.
- Conduct daily maintenance checks (TPM) on allocated machinery and report major maintenance issues.
