Description:
The Nurture Brands Group of Companies are recruiting for a Junior Payroll Administrator to join their Shared Services HR team, based at The Vineyards Offices in Belville.
As the Junior Payroll Administrator you will support the payroll function with capturing, filing, maintenance of systems and allocated payroll preparation and processing. Administer Time and Attendance, leave and ESS systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A relevant tertiary certificate / diploma (Payroll, HR management) advantageous
SAGE 300 People experience
Responsibilities:
Prepare, process and oversee the monthly payroll on Sage 300 People for allocated companies in the Group
Assist in the prep and processing of payroll, including calculations, reconciliations, and reporting
Ensure that payroll information is captured accurately and timeously and that month-end payments and reporting is done accurately and timeously
Execute functions in alignment with payroll rules, SARS compliance and Sage 300 methods of calculation
Capture and process all new appointments, employee information changes and terminations accurately and timeously
Record overtime data and reconcile
Assist the Payroll Specialist with Ad hoc projects and activities
Responsible for the ESS system daily and update with new employees monthly, adding of users and resetting of accounts
Ensure transactions are aligned with leave policy and procedures
Ensure all payroll information is up to date and filed correctly
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, including salaries, benefits and tax information
Responsible for managing the HR consumables budget, stationary orders and purchase orders
Support the implementation of HR initiatives and systems
