Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Support payroll process in a multi-state environment. Work closely with the payroll team to maintain and update a variety of payroll data to ensure that employees are paid correctly and appropriate deductions are applied with assistance from a Senior.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit paper payroll checks for employees who do not have direct deposit
- Collect banking information for direct deposit setup and initiate deposits on paydays
- Keep up to date with the taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors
- Maintain and document all payroll records
- Perform time entries and basic master data entries.
- Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
- Research about solutions, generate and communicate process improvement ideas
- Follow and implement best practices and processes defined by the company, to work with high standards of quality
- Participate in status meetings
- Attend internal trainings
- Perform other functions related to the position
Qualifications
English level B2+
- Graduated from a Technical High School in accounting or executive in service center, or university student in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of payroll processes and monitoring / detective controls. Desirable.
- Knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
