To make our car rental comparison even more customer-friendly and efficient, we are looking for you as (Junior) PHP Software Developer (m/f/d) at AurumCars GmbH in Munich. We are looking forward to your application!
Your Qualifications
Education: Degree in computer science or completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or comparable training in IT
Practical experience: First professional experience and understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
Tech stack: Knowledge of object-oriented development with PHP and MySQL, previous knowledge of using the Linux shell, a feel for software architecture and interest in DevOps (Linux)
Digital Mindset: Passion and interest in web development with PHP and MySQL, taking into account common clean code principles
Drive and Spirit: Strong quality awareness, hands-on mentality, very good communication skills and ability to work in a team as well as high motivation
Language skills: Business fluent in English; German is a plus
Your Responsibilities
Working in a team: You will work on exciting topics related to our multilingual car rental comparison - from comparison results and booking routes to self-services in our customer area after booking. You will work closely with our front-end teams and external partners and implement REST API connections with them
Take responsibility: You will be responsible for the technical implementation of product improvements and further develop our backend applications in the car rental area
Optimize tech stack: You will further develop the current tech stack of our entire backend application, thus ensuring the stability and future viability of our products at the same time
Ensure coordination and communication: You implement innovative features in close collaboration with our product managers and by contributing your own ideas. You will coordinate with IT teams of other applications (e.g. frontend)
