Description:

We offer an opportunity you simply won’t find anywhere else. In less than five years, Mileway has grown into Europe’s leader in last mile logistics real estate, with a 550-plus team across more than twenty six offices in ten countries.
Are you a proactive, dynamic and driven analyst, ready to take the next step in your real estate career? We are looking for a Junior Portfolio Analyst to join us on our new adventure in London. You’ll be part of a young, dynamic team, working alongside colleagues from all over the world. You’ll report directly to the Senior Portfolio Analyst, as we build on our 5.3 million square meter UK portfolio and consolidate our position as the market leader in last mile real estate.
As Junior Portfolio Analyst, you’ll have responsibilities on both a country and international level. As a local market specialist, you’ll focus on the UK market, providing country-level analytics support. You’ll also be collaborating closely with our Amsterdam-based Portfolio Management team on ad hoc and ongoing projects. In this part of your role, you’ll provide essential support and country-specific insights to the Portfolio Management team as they manage performance optimization and report Mileway’s performance to its shareholders.
You’ll be joining a young and ambitious company, so there are plenty of opportunities to contribute, and some pioneering to be done. We operate at high speed with no shortage of challenges to solve. The right candidate has not only the drive and discipline to handle the day to day, but the ambition to grow with us as we develop an unparalleled opportunity as the principal player in last mile real estate.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in providing the Country Head, Regional Directors and the Asset Management team with portfolio metrics to ensure strategic execution and performance of assets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and cross-border to support the local execution of key strategic workstreams like portfolio refinancings, disposals and valuations
  • Assist in performing in-depth (lease, capex, NOI, etc) analysis and report on an aggregated basis with respect to past, current and future portfolio performance
  • Collaborate on Annual Budgeting (Leasing & Capex) and recurring reporting such as Tenancy Schedules, Occupancy Forecasts and Leasing Updates
  • Assist with preparing Prepare Investment Committee material
  • Support and deliver the country input for the investor quarterly reporting, in close collaboration with the Portfolio Management team
  • Support decision-making in providing commercial asset and market knowledge and be able to articulate market trends, which forms a key component of the quarterly board book and helps formulate strategy and explain the portfolio’s performance
  • Create a firm understanding of all systems, which are used to manage and track the portfolio’s performance (Yardi, Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, etc.) and support with optimizing systems and processes
  • Proactively review current state processes, seeking ways to leverage off people, processes and technology in implementing innovative solutions and improvements to gain efficiencies, mitigate risks and provide further insights for supporting decision making
  • Assist in ad-hoc analysis
