HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE AND GROW?

The Gas Treatment Department is an international team with a strong focus on chemical absorption technologies (amine wash, etc.) and physical wash technologies (Rectisol, Recticap, etc.). We execute projects worldwide and support solution development on the use of absorption technologies for carbon capture or gas treatment applications.
For this department in Air Liquide Engineering & Construction Poland we are looking for a motivated Junior Process Engineer.
The role is based in Kraków and requires business trips and delegations abroad.
Your mission as a Junior Process Engineer will be to design, develop and implement carbon capture plants for customers around the world. The carbon capture technologies to be implemented will comprise chemical absorption (e.g. amine wash) or physical absorption (e.g. Rectisol). In the context of the energy transition, these absorption technologies are often combined with a broad selection of syngas generating and conditioning technologies from Air Liquide’s technology portfolio, and the efficient integration between these technologies is key in devising optimized solutions.

Furthermore, your responsibilities include to

  • Develop safe, reliable, efficient and innovative technological solutions for our customers,
  • Contribute to projects execution in multidisciplinary projects,
  • Develop in-depth expertise in Air Liquide’s proprietary Rectisol technology as well as our third-party amine technologies and provide this expertise to our internal and external customers.
  • Develop process design (simulations, equipment & instrumentation design, process control concept, safety considerations, process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams etc),
  • Contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, vendor bid evaluations,
  • Supervise start-up on site for customers around the world,
  • Contribute to proposal preparation and development of technological concepts,
  • Contribute to the further development of Air Liquide’s proprietary technologies
