Salary Range: £32,000 – £36,000 pa, depending on experience

About the role
CPI is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Program Operations Associate to provide critical operational support to the Climate Finance program in our London office. This position requires an independent and resourceful individual with strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. The position requires strong attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to multitask projects.
This position is ideal for a candidate looking to build a career in the international development or climate change space, with a particular focus on program and/or grant management.
You will report to the Senior Program Operations Associate and work closely with team members across offices and departments in the United States, United Kingdom, India, and Indonesia.
Roles and responsibilities
Includes the following and others as assigned:
Provide administrative support throughout the project lifecycle for the US Program, including:
- Assisting with preparation of due diligence submissions and proposals
- Drafting and processing consultant contracts, invoices, and related paperwork
- Ensuring basic procurement processes are followed and compliant
- Tracking reporting deadlines and ensuring timely submission
- Maintain and update key project management platforms, such as Fluxx Grantseeker and Sage Intacct, working closely with project managers to track project status and maintain records
- Assist in the implementation of internal project management policies and procedures
- Support program staff with the accurate management of grants and contracts, ensuring adherence to donor regulations, local laws, and internal procedures
- Help maintain internal knowledge management systems by organizing and updating project data
- Communicate and collaborate with CPI staff around the globe to ensure smooth project operations
About you
- Proven experience in providing administration support. Experience working in an international and/or not-for-profit organization or in program administration is desirable.
- Knowledge or experience with international donor grant management
- Familiarity with best practice project management processes. Project Management qualification such as Prince2, Agile or similar, desirable but not required
- Experience of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience of Fluxx, Grantseeker, Airtable and/or Sage Intacct desirable
- Written and spoken fluency in English is required

Position Details
CPI is recruiting for one full time position in our London Office.
This role is not eligible for sponsorship – applicants must have a right to work in the UK.
Current salary range for this role: £32,000 - £36,000. Compensation will be commensurate with experience in line with CPI’s compensation framework.
